Boots

Postby jt807 » Sat Jan 17, 2009 9:26 pm

I need a new pair of boots. I want some that go pretty high, maybe 8". Non insulated. I would prefer waterproof.

I would rather spend more money for a pair that will last. Does anyone have any suggestions?

If you have some, let me know who made them and how long they have lasted you.

And I want to try them on first, so where you got them would help also.

Thanks!

I also bought Danner Proghorns this year since several of my friends also wear them and recommend them. Previously I had Danner Frontiers.

The Proghorns are just a little lighter, but so far they just don't feel as quite as comfortable to me as my Frontiers did. I think maybe there is a little more padding in the Frontier that makes my feet feel less tired after a day of hunting.
